We found out on Saturday, September 1st that we're going to have a baby! This picture was taken that day at the the first UGA game of the season-- shortly before we knew. We waited until we got home the following Monday (Labor Day, ironically) to tell our families in person. We're soooo excited and in awe that it's actually happening to us! It's nearly week 5, so it's still very early in the pregnancy, but I haven't had any morning sickness YET. I could go to bed at 9pm every night, and sometimes I feel like I could nap in the middle of the day, but I don't think the serious fatigue has kicked in yet. Although I had to substitute beer drinking with ice cream eating, it was so much fun! We had such a great time with my parents, Adam's dad and step-mom, even with me being preggers. However, I think I was the only one not drinking and going to bed before midnight. But whatever... the food was awesome, I didn't lose too much money, and I got a whole week's worth of exercising in as we walked the strip all day Friday. Oct. 9th was my first appt. and sonogram, and I was so excited to see the baby and hear it's heart beating so fast! I also met my new doctor, Dr. Gregory Cook. That's all the painting I'm allowed to do, though!
