Brody's First Beach Trip
Brody, Grandma and I just got back from Brody's very first trip to the beach, and whew... are we exhausted! We went to Hilton Head Island, SC to celebrate Grandma's birthday and introduce Brody to the beach (Daddy stayed home to hang out with his friend, Grant, who came into town for the weekend). It was certainly a very different experience with a baby... not a relaxing beach trip like I used to have, but it was so fun to see Brody experience something new. And we're off again this next weekend to Florida for some more beach and family fun (if we survive the long car drive down... ahhh!) Check out our slideshow!
(and you might notice Brody's extreme outie bellybutton- it's an umbilical hernia, but no worries- it doesn't hurt him a bit and the dr. says it will probably go away before too long)
