Watch me as I grow!
It seems that every morning when I pick Brody up out of his crib, he's grown and changed so much overnight. He's over 10lbs now and chunking up with baby fat. He's so alert now, with hilarious expressions and adorable baby noises. He's the happiest in the morning on his changing table. That's when he has mommy's undivided attention and we have "conversations". The gummy smiles are the best :)
Sleeping through the night is pretty great too! I never would have thought he'd be sleeping 6 hours consecutively at his age. And more amazing, he goes back to sleep after his nighttime feeding and sleeps several more hours. Did I mention how great mornings are now???
This past weekend we celebrated his great-great-grandmother's birthday. Mama Lula is 100 years old, and she had a great big party! So many people got to meet Brody. And guess what the first thing they ALL remarked on.... his hair, of course! It keeps growing with the rest of him. You know, I never had a lot of people feel compelled to touch my belly when I was pregnant, but now people sure do love to put their hands in Brody's wild hair. How can you not?!
